Jara N. Matías Ruiz June 11,2013 English 102 1) What is poverty for you? Poverty is when people have no money, you do not have a home or even have food to survive. It can also be when you have something to eat but what you eat is not healthy for your health as it is not made with things that really are food. As such we are eating dirt cookies. 2)Gandhi: "Poverty is the worst form of violence." What do you think he meant? Explain your answer in detail. Gandhi says that poverty is the worst form of violence because when a child or adult suffering from hunger that's most brutal and sad. Your body feels tired, give pain and even starts to get very thin, with a big belly full of parasites. 3) How can you contribute to your society to help stop violence? To stop violence think the government should do a campaign in which all individuals contribute weekly food to send to those in need.
